Compost Blanket is an all natural environmentally friendly, installed compost blanket that can achieve more than 95% success for the elimination of erosion, while forming a weed free environment blending itself into natural surrounding. Copost blanket is 1 of the best management practices for most conditions.
Compost Blanket is a recycled compost meeting Australian standard AS4454 with no artificial products or plastics. Additionally, we inject natural takifiers into our Compost Blanket and a chemical free natural liquid fertiliser. We have different seed injection options available from grasses, native plants and wild flowers. This application is a three step process.
How does it work?
Our Compost Blanket forms to any ground contours and the natural tackifier interlocks Compost blanket with the existing surface beneath. Once seed strikes, fertilizer produces rapid root penetration into natural ground beneath forming a bond between blanket, seed and natural ground making this one of our two best management practices for erosion control.
